U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs Attract Approximately $731 Million in One Day
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $731 million in net inflows on September 3. Most of this amount went to BlackRock’s IBIT fund.

Bitcoin ETF inflows in the U.S. reached approximately $731 million on September 3, 2026. According to data from SoSoValue, also reported by Cointelegraph and CoinDesk, this was the combined net inflow into U.S. spot funds tied to bitcoin during a single trading session.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for the largest share, with approximately $454 million in inflows. It was followed by ARKB with about $138 million and the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) with approximately $74 million.
Bitcoin ETF inflows were the strongest since January
Cointelegraph reports that the combined daily inflow was the highest since January 14, 2026. At that time, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $843.6 million, according to the cited data.
The result was also not evenly distributed among the funds. IBIT alone accounted for more than half of the total daily inflow, underscoring its dominant position within this group of products.
Bitcoin traded above $80,000
During the U.S. trading session, bitcoin traded above the $80,000 mark. Daily flows into spot ETFs are one indicator of investor interest in regulated exposure to the cryptocurrency without the need to hold bitcoin directly.
A strong one-day bitcoin ETF inflow, however, does not by itself confirm that bitcoin’s price rise will continue or establish a direct causal relationship between fund flows and price movements. In addition, the daily figures come from aggregated data services rather than a single official regulatory report, and they may differ slightly after updates.
What to watch next
It will be important to see whether high net inflows continue during the next U.S. trading session. Investors will also monitor updated flow breakdowns from Farside Investors and SoSoValue, including any revisions to individual funds, as well as bitcoin and broader market developments following the release of U.S. macroeconomic data.
